The Rosalique range was developed especially for those with sensitive, redness-prone skin. We would always recommend conducting a patch test however, if you’re planning to add a new product into your routine. This means applying a small amount of product behind your ear and waiting 48 hours to see if any reaction occurs. Once the 48 hours are up, you should be good to go - but feel free to repeat this test a few times if you struggle with extremely sensitive skin, or if you are known to experience delayed skin reactions.

Yes, all Rosalique products are 100% plant-based.

Yes, all Rosalique products are cruelty-free. We do not test any of our ingredients or final products on animals. We also do not sell our products anywhere where animal testing is required by law. Finally, we’re an independent family-run brand, so we do not have a parent company that could test on animals.

Yes, all our products are unscented and free from synthetic fragrance and parfum – both common triggers for sensitive skin. There may however be some naturally occurring scents from the plant oils and extracts we use, but these are sensitive-skin friendly and actually beneficial for the
skin.

Though none of our ingredients contain gluten outright, our 3 in 1 Balm Cleanser and Calming Cream Cleanser both contain:

· AVENA SATIVA (OAT) KERNEL FLOUR

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for oat-based ingredients to be cross-contaminated with wheat (and thus gluten) during processing. Therefore, we would recommend that people with severe gluten allergy (coeliac disease) avoid these two products.

Many of our products are made without nut-sourced ingredients, however, we do use the following nut-derived ingredients in some products:

• PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS (SWEET ALMOND) OIL
• BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA) BUTTER
• ARGANIA SPINOSA (ARGAN) KERNEL OIL

If a product contains any of these ingredients, it will be noted in the ingredients section on the product page. For those with a severe nut allergy, you may prefer to avoid using products made in facilities where nuts are handled or processed. While many of our products are made without nut-derived ingredients, the presence of nuts in the facility means there is always a very small risk of accidental cross-contamination.

Though most Rosalique products are water-based (with the exception of the 3 in 1 Balm Cleanser), we do use a mix of water and oils in our products - as do most cosmetics. However, we only use oils that are deemed gentle enough for delicate skin, and our products are non-comedogenic - meaning that despite the use of oils, they will not clog your pores.

The short answer is yes, but it is very important to note that not all alcohol in skincare is created equal. The type of alcohol that is most often enquired about is ‘denatured alcohol,’ also indicated on ingredient lists as ‘SD alcohol’ or ‘alcohol denat.’ This type of alcohol is very drying and irritating to the skin, and therefore it is not found in any of our products. We do however use cetearyl/cetyl alcohol and/or benzyl alcohol in most of our products, to make sure they meet hygiene and safety requirements. Cetearyl/cetyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol, which is actually moisturising and beneficial to the skin, and benzyl alcohol is considered one of the most gentle preservatives available. So whilst you are right to be wary about denatured alcohol, these two alcohols are absolutely nothing to worry about!

Yes, absolutely! The Miracle Formula has primer-like properties, allowing it to form a smooth and even base that will hold your foundation beautifully. Plus, the Miracle Formula's green microcapsules and light to medium coverage will elevate the coverage of you other make-up, without having to use more product.

Yes, many of our customers use it as a tinted moisturiser for a quick and natural-looking pick-me-up in the morning. The Miracle Formula changes colour when being applied to the skin, from bright green to beige-toned. This means the product will not stay green on your skin and does not need to be covered with another type of make-up.

You should be able to use our Miracle Formula anywhere you'd use a normal concealer, including the eyelids and undereye areas. Some people however have extremely sensitive eyes, especially when it comes to using products that contain an SPF. Therefore we would always recommend doing a patch test first, being careful when first applying the product near the eyes and not coming too close the first time. If everything is fine, you can then gently and gradually make your way closer to the eye area.

If you use your fingers to apply our Miracle Formula, the green microcapsules may leave a slight green tint on your fingertips. To reduce or prevent this, we recommend wiping your fingers with a make-up wipe immediately after applying the product, or using a foundation brush such as our Miracle Brush to apply.

Please be reassured however, the staining only affects the fingers as those are used to crush the microcapsules - we promise you'll have no trouble removing the Miracle Formula from your face at the end of the day.

You can but you don't have to, it's all down to personal preference. Some of our customers like to use their fingers to gently blend the product into the skin, and some prefer to use a foundation brush like our Miracle Brush. You may experience a different result from both application methods, so we would recommend trying both to see what suits you best!

Our Miracle Formula is easy to remove - it usually comes off when you're washing your face, for instance with our Calming Cream Cleanser or with a (reusable) make-up wipe with make-up remover.

If you prefer a more rich and thorough cleanse, you could try our 3 in 1 Balm Cleanser along with our ultra-soft Bamboo Cleansing Cloths. The Balm Cleanser is so nourishing, it even doubles as a soothing face mask - perfect for more mature skin and skin prone to dryness.

The Miracle Formula was first and foremost created with redness-prone and sensitive skin in mind. As most of us suffer from some form of redness at some point in our lives, we felt the need to create something light and easy to help you create great-looking skin on a daily basis. Over time however, we have found that due to the versatile nature of the Miracle Formula, many different people of many different skin tones and types are using it. In terms of colour, it can usually be applied to skin ranging from fair to olive or a little bit darker. The feedback that we get from men who are not accustomed to wearing anything on their skin, is that the Miracle Formula does not feel like putting on and wearing make-up, but rather like a moisturiser that happens to also cover the redness.

If you are someone who is not used to wearing tinted products, and you want to make sure your skin looks as natural as possible whilst wearing the Miracle Formula, we would recommend you start out by applying the smallest amount, and only to the most affected areas. Thoroughly blend this into your skin, and when the green colour has completely disappeared, repeat if necessary. This way you can increase the coverage, but maintain a natural look.

For men who struggle with redness but would rather not use any tinted products, we would recommend our Redness Relief Day Cream, Sensitive Skin Defence Serum SPF25 and Soothing Night Cream.

Yes. We recommend applying the serum in the morning and it can be worn on its own, over the Redness Relief Day Cream, or underneath the 3 in 1 Anti-Redness Miracle Formula SPF50 for additional SPF coverage.

The serum provides broad-spectrum SPF25 protection and helps block up to 96% of UVA and UVB rays. It was developed specifically for sensitive and redness-prone skin and is designed to leave no white cast.

The Redness Relief Day Cream is a lightweight daily moisturiser designed to soothe and hydrate sensitive, redness-prone skin. It does not contain the colour-adapting pigments found in Rosalique's 3 in 1 Anti-Redness Miracle Formula SPF50. Instead, it focuses on long-term skin comfort, hydration and redness reduction through skincare ingredients.

The formula contains Agascalm™, a clinically tested botanical active derived from Agastache Mexicana. Agascalm™ helps calm reactive skin, reduce visible redness, improve radiance and support the skin barrier for better hydration.

Unlike many foaming cleansers that can leave sensitive skin feeling tight or dry, the Calming Cream Cleanser is formulated with PENTAVITIN®, Centella Asiatica, Panthenol and α-Bisabolol to help maintain hydration while cleansing. Rosalique states that PENTAVITIN® helps bind moisture to the skin and supports barrier recovery, even after rinsing.

Using clean hands, gently massage onto a damp face and neck in circular motions, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. The Cleanser can be used daily in the morning or evening, as the first step in your skincare routine. Perfect as a calming cleanse before applying our Redness Relief Day Cream or our 3 in 1 Anti-Redness Miracle Formula SPF50. It can also be used to double cleanse after using our 3 in 1 Balm Cleanser.

Yes, besides being great on its own as a gentle cleanser, the Calming Cream Cleanser also works perfectly as a double cleanser. Especially in conjunction with our 3 in 1 Balm Cleanser, where the Cream Cleanser can be used after the Balm Cleanser.

Although you could use our Soothing Night Cream during the day, we would recommend our Redness Relief Day Cream as your morning moisturiser, as it has been specifically formulated for daytime use. If you do choose to use the Soothing Night Cream in the morning, make sure to follow with a good broad-spectrum SPF. Luckily, 3 in 1 Anti-Redness Miracle Formula provides 5* broad-spectrum SPF50 protection!

It contains anti-inflammatory ingredients such as date seed extract, α-Bisabolol, Panthenol and Zinc, which help reduce inflammation, soothe sensitive skin and minimise visible redness.

It is especially suitable for sensitive, redness-prone skin and conditions such as rosacea, eczema or couperose, but can also be used as a nourishing night moisturiser for normal to dry skin.

To really enjoy the benefits of our 3 in 1 Balm Cleanser's active ingredients, we recommend using it as a face mask. 

To use it as a face mask, firstly, use the Balm Cleanser with our Bamboo Cleansing Cloths to gently remove any Rosalique or other makeup from your skin, and rinse.

Follow up by applying a generous layer of the balm to your face and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse again, and enjoy your nourished skin!

Because it's rich in shea butter and olive oil, it may leave a light film on the skin. If this feels uncomfortable, we recommend removing any excess with our bamboo towel and, if desired, following with our gentle Cream Cleanser as a second step (double cleansing).

Yes. Although it was especially developed for sensitive and red skin, its gentle formulation makes it suitable for all skin types, including combination and normal skin.

To keep your Miracle Brush in great condition, wash it regularly with a gentle brush cleanser or a mild, fragrance-free shampoo and warm (not hot) water.. Rinse until the water runs clear, then gently squeeze out excess moisture with a clean towel before reshaping the bristles.

Yes, the Miracle Brush is reusable and designed to last a long time with proper care. For best hygiene and performance, we recommend cleaning the brush once or twice a week, depending on how frequently you use it. This helps prevent product build-up and keeps the bristles soft and effective.

We recommend replacing the cloths every 3–6 months, depending on use and care, to maintain optimal hygiene and prevent bacteria build-up.

After use, rinse the cloths thoroughly and hang them in a well-ventilated area to air dry. Avoid leaving them damp in enclosed spaces to help prevent odours and bacteria.
